Late June Watermelon Refresher

“The perfect electrolyte drink doesn’t exi--” Hold that thought.

Did you know that watermelon is an excellent source of natural electrolytes?

We deplete these essential minerals and compounds when we move, sweat and stress. But luckily they can be replenished by enjoying a serving of fresh watermelon. Watermelon is rich in potassium and magnesium, and a good source of pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), biotin, and dietary fiber.

When summer weather strikes, a watermelon cooler can help both adults and kids beat the heat. Adding a serving or two of Wild-Lytes to this cooler boosts its detoxifying properties, for a little liver support on the side!

You Will Need:

  • 2 cups organic watermelon, cubed
  • 7-10 mint leaves
  • 25 ml lime juice
  • 4 scoops Wild-Lytes
  • 2 cups sparkling water

To Make:

-Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and combined.

-Serve chilled in glasses with a lime wedge or mint leaf for garnish.

Enjoy!
