Papaya Lime Popsicles - Teri Cochrane

Papaya Lime Popsicles

If you’re a fan of sweet and sour treats, these summery pops might just become your go-to DIY dessert.

Why They’re Wild:

Papaya is a natural source of papain, an enzyme that can aid in digestion and has even been linked to antiviral activity. Lime juice is high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, aids in iron absorption, and may help prevent the formation of kidney stones. Mango is supercharged with magnesium and potassium, helping to regulate blood pressure and pulse.

Sweet, tart and soothing for the system! These guys are perfect as a post-meal digestive aid or aperitif.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen papaya chunks
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • Juice of 3 limes
  • ⅔ cup sparkling water, coconut or pineapple juice

To Make:

-Pulse all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
-Pour into paraben-free silicone or other non-toxic popsicle molds
-Freeze for 2 hours or overnight
-Pop out to serve!
