Work, work, work. If you live in the Metro Washington DC area, then more than likely, you work through lunch more often than you would like. After all, we have been named the most workaholic city in the country.  Working through lunch, however does not mean that you have to give up on healthy nutrients. Our office generally has a working lunch then some time off before our afternoon clients roll in. We never skimp on nutrition, ( how can we?! :)).  Left overs are my secret weapon. Today it was bison with black beans, grilled asparagus and brown rice, topped off with raw sunflower  seeds.  I am now ready to take on the afternoon with balanced blood sugar and healthy proteins and fats that will carry me until dinner.   Food for thought and nourishment.
