The Holiday season is upon us. For me, it’s an additional opportunity to show love and appreciation to the important people in our lives. Every year, I encourage all my clients to take a deep breath and really think about the types of gifts they want to give. In my family, there is a tradition of giving experiences – a trip, a concert, a cooking lesson… Consider a similar gift, and for cases where you want to give something tangible, I encourage you to give a gift that will keep on giving – an item which can help your loved one live a healthier life.

The Holiday Season is a great opportunity to introduce your family and friends to the Wildatarian® lifestyle. Whether in the home, kitchen, gym or outdoors, small changes can yield big results with regards to health and wellbeing. Cleaner eating, smaller carbon footprints, and non-toxic items are a huge part of what makes up the Wildatarian lifestyle. Gifts that convey your values and show you care.

This year, my team and I really expanded my hand-curated Wildatarian Gift Guide! The gifts span a variety of price points – living a healthy life does not have to be costly. Whether you are looking for a large gift, a practical gift, or a sweet gift to fit inside of a stocking, I have you covered!

These glasses can restore circadian rhythms, improving sleep quality and giving us the energy we need to make it through a busy day.

Gratitude Journal

Journaling works. Many studies have shown the positive effects this practice can have on mood, cognition and outlook. Gift a gratitude journal to encourage the recipient to engage with this meaningful and useful practice.

Hydration Reminder

This great gizmo fits on any size/shape water bottle and reminds your loved ones to drink every hour! Using a blinking pattern, this device is an effective aid in upping daily hydration. Great for adults and kids alike!

Wild Lytes

One of my favorite personally crafted  formulations from 2019! Wild-Lytes™ is a food-based electrolyte-focused formula to support your overall health. Proper hydration is key to health and mineral balance in the body. Use daily and take and extra dose when sweating, with illness (such as diarrhea or vomiting), pathogenic infections and chronic stress.

Dry Farm Wines

Here’s to responsible alcohol consumption (for all of my 21+ folks!). Choose Dry Farm Wines if you care about quality! Curated from small, traditional growers all over the world, the wines taste amazing and do not contain added fermentation agents and sugars. Each grower tests for mycotoxins and meets a threshold for sulfites much lower than the one set by the FDA.

Four Sigmatic

This is a company that offers mushroom-infused beverages. Coffees and cocoas are an easy way to get a high quality dose of functional mushrooms into your daily routine. Just add their products to a cup of hot water, mix them into your smoothies or shakes, or use in one of your favorite recipes! These are Wildatarian-approved!

Ullo Wine Filter

This is by far one of my favorite discoveries! The Ullo is a filter that actually takes the sulfur out of your wine without altering the taste. Once the sulfites are removed, the wine becomes Wildatarian-friendly and much easier to metabolize. Bottoms up!

My Favorite Omega Vert Juicer

I start every morning with a fresh pressed juice of cucumber and cilantro using this amazing juicer. It’s like getting a nutrition IV in your home. Fresh green juice has seriously changed my life!

Vitamix Blender

If smoothies are more your thing, this blender is the best. It even has the ability to make soups and sauces – helping make complete Wildatarian meals a snap!

If you still want to enjoy smoothies and the luxuries of a blender but with a smaller profile, the NutriBullet is an amazing option. Liquify almost anything into a green smoothie, whip up that post-workout shake or blend a quick salad dressing – all in this convenient kitchen helper.

Stainless Steel Knives

A good knife is one of the most important tools to have in your kitchen, and the stainless steel variety gives you the best cutting experience! These knives are the most used tools in my kitchen – the quality can’t be beat.

Bamboo Cutting Boards

Bamboo cutting boards are such a great addition to any kitchen due to the fact that they are all natural and chemical free. An added bonus – these are so beautiful!

Instant Pot

Combination pressure cooker, slow cooker and rice cooker, this is my go-to whenever I need to save time. Essential for those very lean cuts of meat, such as venison. The pressure cooking setting allows you to make stews with any wild meats – resulting in a tender, succulent meal. Use for dried beans as well – saving time and deactivating some of the antinutrtients which can make them harder to digest.

Cast Iron Skillet

I use my trusted cast iron skillet almost daily! Whether making eggs, meat, fowl or fish,  this is a great way to get a golden color and an even heating surface. This type of cookware can be almost non-stick if seasoned properly.

Stainless Steel Potsfrying pansauté panpots

Stainless steel has great qualities and you can use it daily without any health concerns. Most non-stick cooking surfaces off-gas toxic fumes and can leach chemicals into food. Aluminum and copper cookware can also be problematic – as these are metals which can have unintended consequences in your body. Stainless steel is non-reactive and safe.

The spiralizer is great for making pasta-like substitutes for a variety of dishes. All Wildatarians can enjoy zucchini noodles – zoodles – or spiralize a sweet potato for healthy hash browns. Use almost any vegetables in this fun kitchen tool!

Kitchen Towels

These are great kitchen towels. They are washable, lint-free, and great for the environment as well as the wallet. They look beautiful and harken back to a time when life was simpler.

Bamboo Kitchen Utensils

Help your friends and family get rid of those plastic spatulas – the material can flake off and end up in food! These bamboo utensils are a MUST in the kitchen. Eco-friendly and practical too!

Mason Jars

Great for you and for the environment! A great non-toxic way to store almost anything in the kitchen. Use for dry or wet; cold or hot. Leftovers, green juice, dry goods, salad-in-a-jar – the possibilities are endless!

If you love lattes like I do, please avoid toxins found in milk from coffee shops and restaurants. Making a professional quality latte is easy with the Aerolatte. Best of all, you can choose your milk and coffee! I choose organic, cold processed coffee low in mycotoxins and free of toxic pesticides and fungicides. Always choose a clean, organic dairy or nondairy milk and enjoy!

Wax Food Wrappers

The world is waking up to the dangers of plastic. Gift a pack of these reusable, washable wrappers and help your loved ones and the environment! Use on bowls, containers or directly on food. Can form an airtight seal. Wrapper got dirty – no problem. Just wash with cold water and mild soap and reuse.

Yoga Mat

This mat is made from tree rubber – no harsh chemicals and toxic plasticizers! Great for you and for the environment.  I am getting them for my entire family this year!

Activity Tracker

A gift that helps your loved ones move more without exposing them to unneeded EMFs. Use this watch in airplane/flight mode to avoid continuous radiation exposure common with most smartwatches and fitness trackers. Help your loved ones meet their fitness goals.

Water Bottle

Everyone needs to hydrate. This water bottle is not only beautiful, but energetically charged. It carries the energy from the crystals inside the bottle. This gift can take the meaning of “good vibes” to a whole new level!

Lavender Coconut Lotion

A favorite amongst myself and my staff, we keep our hands hydrated with this clean hand lotion. It has a beautiful smell without any of the unnatural chemicals found in many hand lotions.

Hand Sanitizer

My favorite mini hand sanitizer. This cute yet practical stocking stuffer smells great and will help keep those germs to a minimum without adding unwelcome chemicals to the mix.

Lip Balm

This all-natural and amazing smelling lip balm is a great alternative to the chapsticks we see in stores. This 3-pack makes the perfect stocking stuffer and maybe you’ll get to keep one for yourself!

HU Chocolate

For all you chocolate lovers!  Cacao is actually full of antioxidants which help the body avoid free radical damage. Choose HU brand chocolate to avoid a host of toxic ingredients found in most “regular” brands. Sweetened with coconut sugar, this brand is sure to please. Vegan, Paleo, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, and Kosher. Many flavors are available – I love this one, lightly seasoned with sea salt – YUM!

Tanka Bars

Bison or buffalo is one of my favorite Wildatarian meats. Gift these convenient snack bars made with buffalo and cranberries. So much better than many of the others filled with added sugars, food coloring and preservatives. A nutritious, delicious snack that is sure to please.

Wine Wands

For those in your life who love wine but get a bad reaction when they drink it, considert these wands. Using one per glass will remove added sulfites and histamine – constituents many react to. Watch their eyes light up at the possibility of drinking wine without all the unpleasant side effects.

Badger Mini Balms

Put a mini-tub of these certified organic skin helpers into a stocking. Made with olive oil, beeswax and essential oils, these hardworking balms can help with sleep, soothe sore muscles and repair cracked skin.
